I was selected as one of the participating composers for the JETS Initiative 2026, held in the context of the Berlinale and the European Film Market.

Under the motto “Music Meets Film,” JETS brings together emerging filmmakers and composers from various countries to foster collaboration and international exchange. The event included project presentations, networking sessions and curated meetings with producers, directors and industry professionals.

Although I was unfortunately unable to present my final pitch on the second day due to a sudden migraine attack, I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this inspiring initiative and to connect with filmmakers from across Europe and beyond.

Ich wurde als einer der Komponisten für die JETS Initiative 2026 ausgewählt, die im Rahmen der Berlinale und des European Film Market stattfand.

Unter dem Motto „Music Meets Film“ bringt JETS internationale Filmschaffende und Komponist:innen zusammen, um neue Kooperationen anzustoßen und den kreativen Austausch zu fördern. Das Programm umfasste Projektpräsentationen, Networking-Sessions sowie kuratierte Treffen mit Produzent:innen, Regisseur:innen und Branchenvertreter:innen.

Aufgrund einer kurzfristigen Migräne konnte ich meinen abschließenden Pitch am zweiten Veranstaltungstag leider nicht halten. Dennoch bin ich sehr dankbar, Teil dieser inspirierenden Initiative gewesen zu sein und zahlreiche spannende Begegnungen mit Filmschaffenden aus verschiedenen Ländern erlebt zu haben.
